Default Tail light bulbs

I hate to be asking this question, but I am not finding the answer anywhere else, including the Owner's Manual, regarding what the correct bulbs really are.

The owner's manual contains almost nothing except a drawing of what the backside of the tail light housing looks like removed from the rear of the car. And zero info as to which bulbs are needed.

The lower row (3 bulbs) on my 07 GT3 no longer light up when braking or otherwise. The upper row with the backup light, works fine. I don't know if this is a blown fuse or something else. The bulbs that I bought (Sylvania 7225's) fit, but they don't light up.

Even though I am old (74), I still do most of my own maintenance, aside from electrical. New spark plugs and coil packs was the most recent. Getting under the GT3 is easy,,,,,Getting up afterward is another matter.

Thanks!

Check fuse first, the main fuse panel is in the driver side kick panel. There are a bunch of other fuses, fusible links, and relays on the rear deck under the carpet, but I'm pretty sure none for lighting.

It would be unlikely all the bulbs would go at once.

IIRC, the turn signal is a 7507, the running/brake is a 7225 or 1157, indicator is 2821. The part numbers are printed on the bulbs, they may use a different reference.

Thanks, Spyerx, that is exactly the info that I needed. I am pretty sure it is a bad fuse. Much appreciated!!

I wish Porsche had included a listing of which fuses are which in the owner's manual. My domestic vehicles have them.

Thanks, JB911! That will help considerably and it is information that I will keep for future use as well.

My brother is having triple bypbass heart surgery tomorrow and I'll get back to work on the GT3 after that is over with. He is a crazy Porsche guy, too. It runs in the family.

You should have a little paper folded up and clipped to the fuse box lid that shows which fuse is which...

By the way, the problem was a blown fuse. I now have a functioning left rear taillight again.

Thanks again, Spyerx!
