Default 7.2GT3 Ride Height

I am in the process of changing a new set of front shock due to front lift chamber leaking. I also realize my ride height is pretty low. I suspect it was fiddle by the previous owner. I know Porsche did have have a procedure to set ride height but the process is tedious. I wonder someone could share their original spring preload distant from the height adjustment collar to the top hat of the spring seat from their stock shock. Kindly post the front and rear shock setting. I just wanted to get some reference point. I did have experience with Ohlin R&T for my previous RS. It serve as a good starting point to setup the car. Many thanks for your help.

Attached are the install pages from the workshop manual that for both front and rear coil overs. They cover ride height and preload.

Interesting. Anyone know what these measurements translate to when measuring from the subframe? I just tweaked my ride height to set proper rake, but now have some rubbing on the front right.

The table for height values the instructions indicate(4400 TW) lists Turbo and TurboS cars, 19" wheels-so for specific GT3 and GT2, maybe it's the same, I can't confirm it-perhaps someone else can find GT3 hight specifications if they are different. And it's +/-10 mm

Also, anyone having alignment done-If you have center locks, there's a special attachment for sensors, dealers will have this, regular alignments shop probably not. I had the dealer do alignment and hight for this reason-

Take a look at the video on the guy who took his GT2RS to a "tire shop", they torqued his center locks with whatever tool and probably less than 50 ft/lbs
It caused almost $100K in damage- the CLs, wheels, rotors, calipers, bearings...

So there might be more threads on adjusting height yourself with a home lift, or maybe a YouTube video-maybe others can chime in

Oh wow. So, I decreased both my rears to set a 20mm rake. This explains the cross change to the front axle, which I did NOT change. So I guess lowering the RL resulted in a corresponding decrease in wheel load on FR ? But I don't really understand what that means or what the fix is.

I suppose I could raise the front right ride height, but then I'd need to re-adjust the rears to maintain 20mm rake ? Seems like I'd be chasing the effect until I got to a height where there was no rubbing up front . . .

For reference, original values were FR: 105.8, FL: 103.72 / RR: 135.22, RL: 137.77. So I kept the front as is, and reduced rear heights as necessary to set 20mm rake.
