My first mod on my GT3RS, Sharkwerks Track Exhaust
I've had my RS for about 3 years and I was considering selling it last week but I decided to not only keep her, but ended up doing my first mod.
Bought this off a rennlister last week and had RadRides in HB install it. It's loud, noticeable loss of power on the low end but the top end is glorious. Sound clip here:

wow that sounds loud. gloriously loud.
hope you're planning on just short trips in it now, Lol (wear earplugs otherwise you'll look like a dork with big ear muffs on your head)
Talk about tickled ear drums,... last time I spent an hour in a car with this type setup, by the end of the romp, I had shoved every last bit of ear wax deep into my ear canal, from rubbing with my fingers.
... it was soooo much fun.
I envy you guys who can put these track exhaust setups on your cars, and literally pull out of your driveway & be on back Mtn roads within a few miles. I would do it too!!!!

I think this exhaust actually makes me drive slower as I can't really fly under the radar anymore.

I have the same exact setup. I would never get rid of it. It brings out the sound of this awesome engine. Feels like a true race car. It’s not meant to be driven daily. The setup is meant for those that use the car for strictly fun!!! Also, the weight reduction is a big plus. Love it!!!

If you like how it sounds on the inside, just imagine the race car sound it makes outside. I get a bunch compliments every time I take mine out. People say is the best sounding GT3 they have heard!!!

I have valved side deletes and center delete and Carnewal remote. When I do a cold start with the valves closed I keep the garage door closed for a minute, it's pretty loud until the air pump kicks in. I also close them to speak on the phone. Otherwise it's open valves and a great blast!

You need to show this forum a drive by, filmed from outside. That’s when you really hear the quality of the exhaust sound.

I may be the outlier here but I can't see installing a system that's that loud for any purpose. It's a track exhaust, but you can't run them at the track as they have sound limits. You can't run them on the streets here in SoCal as we have a new law on the books, $1,000 fix it ticket where the fine sticks and you can't fix it away. They are robbing your car of power where you want it, out of the hole, and it disturbs the majority of the population.
It's bad enough with all these Dodges running around the streets making noise pollution. I love when my Cayenne Turbo can romp on an unsuspecting dodge and do it quietly.
I'm gonna hide behind this stone wall now.

I had M&M longtube headers, 200 cell cats and side deletes on my 997.2 GT3. This set up was too loud for me. I was hesitant to take early weekend drives too frequently from not wanting to annoy my neighbors. I was also very conscious of driving close to 👮 (Orange County, CA).
I swapped the stock exhaust parts back on. I was a bit surprised that there was no noticeable loss of performance, but found the car too quiet even in spirited driving. I recently installed a Soul Performance center bypass. I think I found my personal Goldilocks solution. Cold starts are reasonably quiet with valves closed. Part throttle driving is also pretty quiet. Go wide open throttle, and the music is glorious.

I can understand you guys that live in communist California. For the rest of us, this is how a GT3 should sound from the factory. If you want a quiet car with a bunch of insulation buy a Turbo. For me? A GT3 needs to be loud, raw, very mechanical and animalistic. These are some of the reasons I purchased mine.
