Default Center Delete with Valved Side Deletes

I have a Sharkwerks center delete. Would valved side deletes help mute the sound a bit at lower RPMs or the opposite and make it more like the track exhaust? Obviously much louder at higher RPMs but curious how the valves affect the sound at low rpms.

Thought? Experiences?

If you have side mufflers it's going to be a lot louder with the side deletes. If you have side deletes right now, then valved side deletes will quiet it down a bit. Still gonna be loud though.

yeah got mufflers now and want to get rid of them. Had them off on my previous RS and want to do the same but not sure I want to deal with the loudness of the track exhaust.

I have the valved side deletes and M&M/FVD center delete which is very similar to the Sharkwerks in diameter etc. The advantage of our center deletes is they use the OEM clamps to keep them in place once the sides are deleted.
I also have the Carnewel remote valve control to open or close at will, I think it's essential.
On a cold start I keep the garage closed for the first 2 minutes because it's a bit loud until the air pump kicks in, but not so bad once I leave. I'm very happy with the setup

Some guys have deleted sides and put center back. So, 1 muffler instead of 2.
If you delete sides - and center - no muffler at all. No sure what valves do in that case b.c you have straight pipes no muffler.?

I have done this on a few cars. I had valved side deletes because I first did side deletes and then thought it was too quiet. The valves will do nothing if you aren't running a muffler, so might as well save the $$ and just get side deletes minus the valve.

The valves sure do something if you have the Carnewel controller to open and close at will. I've had this setup for quite some time. Suits me well, others might find it too loud. To me it's perfect

Can you explain how this works? I've done valved side deletes and center delete and the valves made no difference on either of my cars.

I used to have side muffler deletes with stock rear muffler. Liked it a lot. New RS came with center delete, I like it. Will keep it like this for awhile but I think at some point want to go back to side muffler deletes and stock muffler

With the valves closed the upper pipe section on the center delete is much smaller in diameter and so it's a bit quieter. With valves open then the center is fed the upper and lower sections so it's deeper and louder.
A cold start early in the morning is indeed pretty loud with closed valves, so I keep the garage closed for a minute until the air pump kicks in. If you go search on the 991 GT3 forum, quite a few people have opted for the valved side and center deletes. I've been told the 991s might have more noise insulation, and also that RS 997s have less body insulation than non RS 997 cars, so it might make a difference.
I'm very happy with this setup. It's not insane until you open valves and hit 4K rpm and above, open throttle. Just barely touching the throttle the car is singing beautifully. I had a Mercedes that decided to chase and tailgate, wide open above 6K I know his windshield and dash had to be shaking, it gets loud.
I get a lot of cocky people daring me when out and about-Subarus, Mustangs, BMWs, Hellcats, it started getting crazy and with this setup a lot of people just back off.The other reason were the fools driving at night with no lights. At least 4 on any given night, don't know why-
And then the electric scooters and mopeds, cutting between lanes,Teslas. Distracted, auto pilot accidents, people getting cremated in those things. A lady got run over and killed in her living room by a Tesla recently, nuts. I don't trust driving next to them anymore either.
The car is not obnoxiously loud until you want it to be, and it still has cats. Does sound like the GT3 rally cars wide open
