Default GT2 Buckets no longer on Suncoast website

I was looking at their site and I can't find GT2 buckets on there any longer. Is the end near?

Looks like it. I ordered mine six weeks ago I think. At that time there were 15 drivers and 7 passenger seats. Now there's no passenger seats and one driver. How they sold out so quick is baffling to me.

I had purchased the last ROW set from Gert @ Carnewal a few months ago, which made me a bit anxious because I wanted another new set for a different 997. After chatting with a few dealer, I bought a US spec set of seats 5 weeks ago — it was the last US spec passenger seat in PAG inventory, and at the time they had 7 US spec driver’s seats.

Between these seats and Bosch YDDC5 spark plugs, there is certainly a list of “unobtanium” parts forming over the last couple weeks.

Have you installed the ROW seats yet?

You can get the leather still from Porsche, I believe.

Also, any reputable leather shop would be able to redo the leather years from now when it's needed.

Just a test fit last week; I was able to code out the AWS with a PIWIS and don’t have an airbag light. I’m down the rabbit hole of trying to install seat heaters that work with the factory harness at the moment.

When I was searching for red center lock nuts, Suncoast had them, but I waited too long. Someone bought the last set. I called Suncoast. They said they would relist them when they got them back in stock. A couple weeks later, the nuts were back online and I got a set. Maybe the same will happen with the seats.

Suncoast looks to have some in stock, with limited availability.

I purchased a set from Suncoast two months ago and they just showed up. At the time I ordered them he said they already had some sets on order and where expected to come in towards the end of September, I would take that as they do have some sets available to ship right now.

That’s great. What’s the total price shipped for a set?

When it comes to price check your local dealer and ask the parts manager to match the Suncoast price so you don't have to pay shipping. Or ask them if they can beat it. Porsche Ontario was $11,501 but no shipping compared to $11,400 plus shipping for Suncoast.
