Default Non-N Spec Cup 2 for RS

Is anyone running non-N spec Cup 2 tires on their cars? Is there a difference in grip, looks, and wear? Please share photos of what the sideways look like on the wheel for the non-N spec.

On my past cars I have not noticed a difference in the N spec Cup2s vs the standard.

The N Spec does seem to have a bit more of that lip protector look on the PS2, but didn’t notice it at all on the Cups.

If you decide to just do the non N spec, discount tire direct has a flash sale right now of instant $110 off + free shipping.

N0 spec only for my car. N0 tires have no bead. Non N0 have a bead. I hate beads.

No bead?? You must be thinking of something else. Every automotive tire has a bead. Without one, the tire would roll right off the rim.

‘Tis better to spin the tire on a rim than it is to blacken the tarmac

RAudi means the rim/curb protector, which is standard on every tire except N0 spec, btw N0 basically means its revision zero. The old cups ended with N1, basically one revision to the design/compound.

Does anyone have pics of the "bead protector" on the non-N spec? I current have N0 tires and have no idea what you guys are talking about. I cannot seem to find any non-N spec cup 2 tire pics online... or they just all look the same.

^^ Both of those have N0 designation if you zoom in. They both look the same unless I'm missing something..

I don't think so. Look at how the tire in the second pic extends over the rim, while the first one tucks in behind it.

lol you did. I’m looking at them from my phone also so take my words with a grain of salt. Also I’ve never seen the cup non N0 cup mounted, just off a wheel ready to be mounted.
