What cgfen said... half the cars in my adopted hometown of Scottsdale seem to be from Montana...

I'm not into the Montana tax dodge, but you gotta love a state that encourages you to rat your neighbor out.

IDK... They are living in the same state as people paying the tax and consuming the same resources, but not paying for them. F 'em.

Here we go... If it’s legal, what’s the problem.

Oh, having grown up in Vancouver WA, you bet I drove across the river to make $$ purchases.

Agree. But moral vs legal (and I don’t know the legal circumstances).

I've seen cars with Montana plates here once in a while.
But the question is, who makes the new GT3's manual transmission

Judo/Christian law is morally based.

If someone legitimately can register in Montana by truly and honestly meeting the requirements then I would have no gripe. If it’s a shell game then it rubs me the wrong way.

There is risk involved with registering in Montana but I give a thumbs up to everyone (in Ca) who does that.

Charging sales tax on a car that’s old and already been sold multiple times feels morally wrong.

Porsche 911s truly peaked with the 997 generation. Some of us realized this as soon as the 991.1 debuted, but it has only become clearer since. We're not all chasing lap times...some of us actually want to enjoy the drive in our Mezger powered masterpieces.

I love them so much I bought two!

I not conversant with California taxes but I do know the Progressives have done a great job of making things Progressively worse there and now the rest of the country.

Problem is the mass exodus to red states that they then infect with the liberal disease and then wonder why thing get f’d up.
