Default Anyone selling buckets for .2 GT3

Regular buckets, GT2, or other let me know.

Also, where should I be looking besides other owners, I have thought about buying from AMX in Poland. I have done it before on another car, but it took about 6 months.

Thanks!!

I am posting on RL, to see if the community has a set or a lead on a good deal/source. Thanks

I will likely be selling my .2 sport buckets.
Shoot me a PM with your number or an email and I can send some photos.

I have a pair of CGT buckets complete with brackets and seat belt receptacles out of Rohr's CGT, $18,500 secured in crates and ready to ship.

If you buy ROW seats be aware I have yet to get a direct answer on reprogramming to get the passenger airbag light to go out. I posted to a few forums here asking for one person that dd it and crickets. There's a guy here that just bought the last set from Gert at Carnewel but I forgot his name. It would be nice to know the answer to that mystery.

I have a set of Recaros in my 1M, just installed about 2 months ago. The light/chime stays on for ~ 2 minutes, but I am having the sensor coded off by Alpine Motorsports. I can ask him if he does the same for 997 cars.

One thing I am wondering about is leather vs other material. Were the factory buckets for US all leather? Any cloth or Alcantara options in center section? I see pics with both, so I am slightly confused maybe one is Euro Spec?
Thanks-

That’s me. I have the seats sitting in my warehouse… I’ll probably tackle the install over the July 4th weekend along with some other interior refreshing bits.
  • Plan A: use a clone PIWIS 3 that I have, to code out the AWS sensor to keep the airbags functional without throwing a warning.
  • Plan B: Try and acquire the US spec passenger seat rail (p/n 997-521-430-03) that contains the AWS sensors and retrofit the sensors to ROW seats — the seat rail seems to be discontinued? If anyone has a line on where I can get this part please PM me.
  • Plan C: Purchase US spec seats, sell these ROW seats to someone else and chalk up the time/money to a learning experience.

Suncoast for best deal on OEM

CGT for best investment while driving

Recaro for best value/fit.

Leather all the way and I’d use Neatsfoot to preserve (reduces creases a lot) and Saddlesoap to clean. I’m oldschool thanks to years in Baseball and friends in Tack. All the other leather options pale in comparison.

Thanks,
I am the odd alcantara fan, I love it not sure why, but I love it.
Cloth would be my second choice followed by leather.

Do you know what the rail and seat part number are for Recaro?

I think you can change them to alcantara with replacement covers? I saw a kit that was somewhat reasonable but went to Suncoast and it was crazy high. Do the covers zip off the cushions? If so an aftermarket company must make them.

Sorry if I repeat this. Suncoast lists them as listed availability and from what I have heard whatever U.S. spec seats that are available here and in Germany is all there will be. They are not making more. I think as of a month ago that was 15 drivers and 7 passenger seats.

That's pretty crazy to think about. Its understandable when cars aren't made anymore. But, I always thought that replacement parts would be available whenever someone needed them.

These cars are definitely a special item.
