So his car shows silver and deviated color wheels. It does not list mirrors in deviated color, but does list the wing ends in deviated color. So my thinking would be the silver wheels gave you the body colored mirrors and wing ends. Then, the owner had to manually add in the wing ends in deviated color along with the wheels. Since he wanted to keep black mirrors.

That’s my assumption too. Checks out if you base the rules on White cars – silver wheels and body colored mirrors as standard.

I just found this example as well. White car with both Silver and Deviated Color wheels. You get the body colored end plates in this case.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...che-gt3-rs-26/

What is strange is that for this car, it has black mirrors. But they're not listed on the build sheet. So did an owner paint them?

There is one other car that I found that matches a similar build to Joel's car, however, there are no pics of it online when I Google the VIN so I cannot compare.

Here is also an example of another white car with both Silver and Deviated Color wheels. You can see it has the body matching mirrors, but I cannot see wing end plates from this pic.

https://www.sanfranciscosportscars.c...-gt3-rs-c-709/

I checked the GT3RS order guide and there is no mention of what happens when someone orders silver wheels on a black car. It does not make specific mention that it would give you body colored wing ends and mirrors.

I mentioned the white BaT car above (post #3). I think the consensus in the GT3/RS Cars for Sale thread was that the mirrors on that car should have been white and the end plates should have been black (@Bxstr, see your post #7606 in that thread).

Here's another white one that has both silver and deviating wheels listed on the build sheet--it, I think correctly, has white mirrors, black end plates, and black wheels:

Yes, I should have mentioned that you already put that and yes, I did see my old post from a while ago. Will be interesting if anyone else can get additional detail.

Here's one other car that matches somewhat closely. Looks like this one though has body colored mirrors and end plates though with it mentioning deviating mirrors and end plates. I guess it's possible that since they wanted everything to be black, the only way to do so was to get the wheels painted in silver to do so? Then add in the other options individually.

What also seems somewhat strange about the Mecum car is that it appears to have a similar options list (also from Canada too) to this car below, but I cannot find a VIN for this car. It matches Joel's build almost identically.

https://londonmotorcars.com/vehicles...08-997-gt3-rs/

But this car does not have red taillights as is shown in the build sheet for the above car.

Did anyone else notice the silver center caps? I'm guessing those wheels were originally silver, and the PO painted them black, but kept the caps. Perhaps this changed since 08, but black caps are available with either green or orange RS logos.

I did notice the silver center caps, but the build sheet and sticker indicate that it had black wheels originally. Someone must have changed the center caps...not sure why.

So, I'm confused (more than usual). What do the following options mean in the context of that all-black car:

CNL Side Stripes-deviating color (there are none; was it delivered with black graphics?)
CNR Rear Wing End-plates Dev Color (black)
CNZ Side Mirrors-Deviating Color (black)

Does "deviating" in this case mean "black"? Thanks in advance.

My guess is yes, deviating is black.

Look at the third pic, it does have side graphics, but they're black and you can barely see them.
