Default Titanium studs, any adverse effects.

Looking at getting a set of studs to help with getting the wheels on and off the car. I had titanium lugs on the my old car and loved them. Lightweight, non corrosive, and looked nice. However, the hats on this new car look to be aluminum and I'm wondering if there should be concern for corrosion? Will Tef Gel or an anti seize help with this if corrosion is inevitable?

Thanks

never had ti studs, never will. ti is strong when you compare strength to weight, but it's not strong compared to other alloys. studs also have a lifespan, so you'd likely replace them before they corroded

^^. Thanks. Those Tarret pieces look good. Can I ask why would one get one length one another. Bolt hole depth?

Maybe if you're using spacers?

To fit your wheels. When I installed my cup fenders I had to install a set of rear studs on the front to have enough thread engagement.

That would only be because you're running spacers, right? If the offsets are correct, you shouldn't need longer studs.

Yeah, that's correct. There might be some other reasons that I'm not aware of though.
