We're honestly not sure but that's how Porsche has these priced. MSRP on the left seat is $5,773.59 and $7,560.68 on the right seat. Our pricing is discounted as much as possible on both and these ship free within the US as well.

These popped up on eBay last night: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Porsche...IAAOSwSIRgUstS

Little rough, but it's something.

Penalty for having a passenger as dead weight offsetting door handle fabric strap savings.

I know the passenger seat has the occupancy sensor. I doubt that is more than $100 in actual parts though for Porsche.

I have a set that is original to my 997.2 GT3 with the factory alcantara inserts that I am actually considering selling. The carbon is 9.5/10 and the leather is 8.0-8.5/10. They would include sub belt mounts (Brey Krause I believe) and alcantara headrest covers (I forget the user name but they are sold here on RL). What are these worth?

I think in close to perfect condition, they can fetch 10k. Maybe 9k for yours if they aren't perfect. Maybe 9,500. heck shoot for 10k and see what happens. I have a set also. Need 10k for them. Perfect with no nicks or scratches at all.

Default seats

I thought the GT2 seats were the only ones that fold forward?? the Buckets for the 997 GT3 were non-foldable

Please correct me if I am wrong...

Correct. GT2 buckets fold and have airbags. GT3 buckets for 997 were only offered for ROW (rest of world) and do not fold and do not have airbags.

For the 997.2 GT3 in the US, you could get the GT2 style buckets that fold and have airbags in the US. This was not an option for the 997.1.

And the ROW GT3 buckets (they might also be the same as the CGT buckets? not sure...) are a lot more expensive than the GT2 folding buckets!
