Default Can anyone help me read this PCCB measurement

I had my pccb's measured at the dealer and they told me I had plenty of life left on the pads. I was expecting a 1-11mm readout and cant understand how many mm or percent they are at by this. Can anyone else?

ahh ok. Why would they measure the rotors? Clearly I was talking about the pads. Idiots. Thanks for the help!

I think most are concerned with rotor thickness since each rotor is $5k or so. Pads are maybe $300 for a front set? I’d ask them to measure pads again for you though. I think on PCCB’s It’s recommended to replace at around 50%. So It’s around the time that the pad thickness is the same as the backing plate thickness if I remember correctly. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on that.

Also, your dealer may have the Snapon Porsche Rotor Density tool. That will give you an even more accurate reading on the life of your PCCB’s.

yes, 50% that’s why I wanted them to read the pads. Not too worried about the rotor thickness.
