Man, in the hot lap session he really made the 997 4.0 look not fun to drive. Seemed like it was either setup really tight so it didn't kill him, or was setup to get the **** trail braked out of it, which he wasn't willing to supply.... I'd probably be afraid to destroy that car too if I'm being honest... but it didn't make me want to trade in my base gt3

Totally enjoyed this. Thanks for posting. I'll be in WC next week if you want to get together.

Hagerty is pouring loads of dough into content and it’s awesome! Cammisa is an entertaining story teller and hell of a character.

On the quick starts....so much wheel-spin in the 997 GT2 RS. Love it.

I wish they poured less dough into "movies" and offered descent insurance. So far on two different occasions their coverage and premium rate was subpar to Grundy and the likes. Apparently Liberty Mutual has a far more realistic price on my GT3 than they do.

Jason Cammisa is truly one of us, and to see him tell the story was pretty damn epic. Great video!

Fun fact that Cammisa and I both cut our teeth on VW Sciroccos. Unlike me, he held onto his (smart).

Great video, but with some errors.

For example, the GT2RS came before the 3RS 4.0. The video makes it seem like it was the other way around. Then he's talking about 991.1s and showing a 991.2 3RS. Wth?

+1 .. he also talks about the RS moniker as if it was invented starting with the 996 gen. And we know that RS term has been used for decades by Porsche.

Absolutely love Cammisa, from his Insta-reviews to Issimi podcasts and now Hagerty videos. I almost feel guilty watching them for free -- the production value is incredible. He's like the US version of Chris Harris IMO

He is very entertaining. Have to cut slack on some minor errors. Not a big deal imho. He is a real car guy and funny too.

It’s funny how the 3.8 7.2RS get skipped over in these comparisons tests sometimes for the 4.0 (which is slightly better) but all the driver cars are 3.8’s and the 4.0 come out of collections for the test.

Noticed that too. Well if it makes you feel any better the 997.1RS wasn’t mentioned either.

They all should have been mentioned. He only mentioned the cars he had on hand.

These vids say it all imho.

Dan Trent: Everything about it “is just right”

Jww: it’s the sweet spot of RSs

Chris Harris: “What a machine”
