Jason - just realized you're are the previous owner of my car!

Was noticing the avatars and was thinking I should change mine - look too similar, made me LOL

Bumping an old thread, having windshield on .2rs replaced this week. Ordered glass from dealer and having their recommended body shop glass guy do the work. Windshield comes with new gasket. - is there anything else needed?

Just posting an experience using Safelite whith my GT3....

After talking to my main Porsche dealership about having them replace the windshield, they told be they use Safelite and to contact them myself as it would be cheaper in the long run. I didn't like this response. So, I started calling around to a few other Porsche dealers in the area but they told me the same thing. I went ahead and contacted Safelite and told them I wanted OEM glass and that I wanted to have them install it at my home so I could watch over things. Well, I'm please to say everything went perfect. No issues at all. No air or water leaks. I might of gotten lucky though because the Safelite technician claimed he's the "premium/exotic" car go-to guy at his Safelite branch. Don't know if his claims are true or not, but he did a great job.
