That's a clean setup. Did they provide washers/spacers so that you could get it aligned (horizontal)? Making it out of one piece is the most efficient manufacturing method and helps on pricing.

No spacers are provided. By luck (I guess), when I tightened it, it ended up being perfectly horizontal. I assume thin "washers" or spacers available from various sources could be used if needed. The billet post has two flat spots machined into it just below the strap that you can fit a 22mm wrench to make tightening a snap.
