Deviated mirrors and wheels (option codes CNZ and CRX respectively) were options on these cars. This particular car has them done in Speed Yellow. The deviated mirrors is a very rare option and cars that have the deviated wheels almost always have them finished in body color so this car having them done differently is highly unusual.

Right? It's interesting that both Metzger and Mezger mean Butcher in German. American pronunciation of the words differ from German pronunciation as in Germany, they sound the same. The guy's an American so I would think he would pronounce it without the "T" sound. Who's to say. AlI know is it is spelled without the T and that review still sucks *****.
Watch this video from Rennlist so you don't get stuck having to watch a commercial. Do not open it, just click play. No commercials allowed on Rennlist unless you pay, lol.
These next two don't have commercials:https://forvo.com/word/mezger/

Happy New Year guys, my best to your families and may your DME’s stay low. Thanks for the help and most of all the entertainment!

You know these days it’s hard to tell if something is perceived value or is actually valuable. After sifting through all the BS the last few years there are very few ‘things’ I own that I can say have value to ‘me’, everything else is just a toy. The great group of guys here in the 997 forum with similar feelings just re-enforce that.

Yes, let's get out and drive and enjoy what these amazing cars have to offer. Only a couple more months before it's time for mine to come out of storage. PCCM Plus install time, then drive.

Couldn't agree more. I think the 997 GT2/3 owners are really an excellent group of people, knowledgable and willing to help out.

Correct. .1 only. If I had a .2, I'd likely keep the factory PCM 3.0 and add a CarPlay module to it. If you don't have PCM then that's understandable that you'd want to wait till the PCCM Plus came out rather than retrofitting PCM 3.0 and a CarPlay module.

happy belated New Year to you all, you’re a great bunch! Definitely enhances my ownership experience knowing there’s a group of friendly and knowledgeable guys that are passionate about sharing their lessons learned with others.
edit: love the comment Misha makes at 17:42 when he says the wing is so big it’s hard to know if someone is behind him and wants to pass, lol, the struggle for 997.2 GT3s is real! If I don’t get an RS, I’m thinking of at least getting the RS wing with the risers, lol, at the ire of all purists
