Detailersdomain is about an hour north of you.

Regarding audio, if you do not have an aux connector in your center console/armrest, then contact Becker Auto Sound as mentioned. They may be able to retrofit an aux cable or bluetooth audio into the radio. They did this on my 997.1 CDR24 radio. Audio quality is not great, but you do have bluetooth audio if that is something that you would like.

If you do have an aux connector already, you could use an aux to Bluetooth audio device to get Bluetooth audio. If you want recommendations, let me know.

Another question: how many different radios did the GT3 come with? I believe I have the base radio. What options do I have to connect my phone and stream music?
Also, 997.2 GT3 came with 2 radio options, either the standard radio, or PCM 3.0 which has nav.

standard radio is shown in this ad.

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/d...che-911-gt3-4/

If you look up PCM 3.0, you’ll see what that looks like. If you look at the build sheet it should tell you if you have PCM.

997.2RS also had radio delete option I believe. But I don’t think you could delete it on the 997.2 GT3.

997.1 GT3 is similar where you have either the standard CDR24 radio or PCM 2.0.

This may not be the answer you are looking for re. the radio question but what about this?

Anker Roav Bluetooth Car Adapter and Car Charger, Power IQ 3.0 Type C PD, Bluetooth FM Transmitter for Car, Wireless Calling with Bluetooth 5.0, Noise Cancellation -T2
Amazon Amazon

I also just purchased my GT3 with the CDR 24 and was looking at spending $$$ in order to be able to use my phone.
Gave this FM transmitter a try. Best $30 I ever spent.

Yup, that’s my radio. But I do have the 3.5mm aux jack in the center console. So I guess I can use a Bluetooth transmitter device. Please post up your suggestion.

I’ll check that out, along with some other options. Typically I try to avoid those transmitters that use a radio station, as the quality is garbage. I’ve had good luck in the past with converters that utilize usb. but that typically involves removing the radio and plugging into the back of it. Is there a 3.5mm to usb converter?

But to be honest, I think the quality of the stereo system in this car isn’t great regardless. Please post some suggestions, and user reviews...I can go blind with all the options available on Amazon.

Do you have USB input next to the aux? If so I had a similar version of this but with a different connector in my Audi.

Amazon Amazon

Any of the solutions on this page should work fine though. You would need to run a usb cord from a 12V source to this to keep it charged.

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=aux+to+bluetooth&sprefix=aux+to+blu&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-a-p_1_10 https://www.amazon.com/s?k=aux+to+bluetooth&sprefix=aux+to+blu&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-a-p_1_10

I would still contact the company though that makes the radio to see what their options are too, but the audio quality on the .1 with Bluetooth audio from them that I have, is pretty bad, and I’m not even someone that is picky about audio. It has to be an FM transmitter that they put inside of the radio, or something similar.

No usb, unfortunately I only have the 3.5mm aux jack. So at this point, what is my best option?...Bluetooth receiver that uses the 3.5mm aux input?
