Exactly. I can get the car lifted MUCH higher than jackstands faster and safer.
For changing one tire I wont bother but for most other things I setup the quickjack.
I've got it down to about 5 minutes from start to full height.

FYI if you're looking to purchase one, just listed a brand new QuickJack BL-5000SLX in the marketplace at $500 off regular price. Bought for my garage during renovations but ended up installing a four-post lift instead.

for those who are space constrained, i prefer the two post max jack to the quickjack.

A quick note on prolonged lift. Had a vehicle lifted for a couple weeks waiting on parts. Upon lowering one jack quickly collapsed. Luckily the car did not slide off. Found one cylinder had lost air pressure. I routinely check psi before use. Other than that one incident they have been flawless.

Does the BL 5000 SLX fits straight on a stock 997 gt3?

Yes. Even the 7000 fits the 997 wheelbase. But if you have an air cooled 911 or plan on getting one, then get the 5000.

I learned the hard way. 7000 doesn’t fit under my 964.

It's not recommended to store a vehicle on the lift, unless it's on the e-stops. That will force you to rebuild to pressure over time. I learned this the hard way myself when I came back and on side of the car was half on the floor.
