I like how they each have different colored emblems...black, silver, gold.

I think your definition of "dirty" Doug is not the same as for everyone else

Good lord, that RUF. How would you compare / contrast that experience with the .2 ? I've driven 993s, but never a TT, let alone a RUF.

Love the Forgelines, I have the same ones in 18" with gunmetal centers for my track wheels.

Lots of differences for sure: air-cooled vs watercooled, NA vs turbo, small vs medium sized, 1998 vs 2010........ In the driver's seat one hears a definite difference in engine note under load (turbo whoosh vs. high pitch rip), power in both is strong with the RUF up a noticeable ~15-20% , power delivery is much different though (turbo thrust from low mid range on up vs more linear power with a push from 6500 to redline). While the RUF 993 handling is very good, it does not match the precise GT3 agility, feel, and steering. Also the RUF is AWD so the steering feel is muted, especially so in the older chassis. I do love the small intimate aircooled interior, everything is close and cozy, and the RUF leather surfaces are rich and beautiful.

If only Porsche would make a (new) modern sports car in the old, small, aircooled size...... Mmmmmm....

Yes, tough to sell, but in the end, I am a driver, not a collector. The car went to one of the top 50 collectors in the world (sorry I cannot share who)

Excellent. Thank you! Figured the GT3 chassis would be superior and power delivery quite different. Never been a huge FI fan, but would make an exception for that beauty.

They gave us the GT4, so that's . . . something, right? Do wish it was considerably smaller though.
