Ever think if you buy one right now and enjoy it while it hopefully appreciates, you can always sell it when the one you really wants pops up. Better to be on the train and just jump across the track to another one than to be left at the station. Just a thought.

I’m patient for the right car. Like I said, I’d maybe pay over 100 for something that I could not pass up on. To me, paying 110 for a white one is not worth it to me. I’m not looking to get a car and keep for a couple of years. I’m looking for one that I will keep for a long time.
There was a cobalt blue one posted late last year with 60k miles that went for ~80k. Times have changed of course.

I’m open to other colors just blue is my favorite. I’m sure something will come around soon! Inflation has really driven up prices and i’m sure some current owners can make some money on their cars now.

I've thought we were in a bubble but perhaps not. There was a point of departure for the 993, and I think we are there for the 997...and to an even bigger degree because it's a high point for 911s.
Look at this auction for a 2006 911S cab 6spd w/ 33k miles It sold for $70k plus fees. Crazy. BAT Auction

I was ready to buy that car David! Looking back that would of been a great deal regardless of the mileage. at 80k with everything sorted, sign me up. With the high mileage I would of been able to drive it without thinking about depreciation as much. One of Doug's retained buyers snatched it up.

They have all crept up, even a dealers. 997.2's are in the $50-60k range. GTS are closer to what GT3 prices were last spring.

That said, the whole run up in car values has been stunning!

of course they have. RAC has a 18k mile GTS cab, asking $78K, and there are others for sale in the low 80s. These cars were in the $60s not too long ago. They're out there for those know of other car seling websites, outside of BaT. BTW, I just threw the GTS comparison out there because that's how ludicrous this price was for 997.1 cab. You can certainly get a very nice 997.2 C2S cab for quite a bit less. Hell, you can find a nice 997TT cab for that without too much effort. The BaT boys just like to pay well above top dollar. Hell, there was a comment alluding the car was an "investable asset".

Sell it now. List it first then BAT if the listing does't produce.

There are no GTS coupe six speeds on the market last time I looked. The last one was a nice car w/ Aerokit 20k miles and was listed for $120k at a Porsche dealer and it sold in a couple days. I'm torn on what to do with mine it has 23k miles, is near mint, and I was going to list it for $95k and offer the 4 years Fidelity Platinum warranty for $2400 or put it on BAT. But it hard to say what to do.
I would list that GTS on BaT without question. There's no better place to unload a unique car to big money buyers. You'll have to put up with the unavoidable keyboard mouth breathers but I think the overall experience isn't bad. If you're lucky, you won't have to deal with the usual tire kickers, test drivers, PPI requests and all the other time wasting b.s. you typically see when trying to sell private party. Have the title in hand and get professional photos done, it's worth it. I left money on the table doing the opposite (took my own pictures). I would just throw the warranty in, it'll help bring in more money and put those nervous buyers at ease. Not worth sweating $2K on a $100K car. good luck.
