I have a battery tender and ordered a receptacle for the lighter. Was going to let it trickle into the red cube but would have had to left my door open as the negative only has the door hinge to attach too.

Thanks, I have a bulkier unit like this but don’t have the lighter attachment . It was pulsing 100 which is suppose to mean it is fully charged but i charged it over night just the same. If that doesn’t work I’ll pick up some jumper cables from Harbor Freight today and attach it to my truck .

I ordered a cig lighter attachment for my trickle charger so I can keep the car battery charged once I get to it. My car sits in the driveway as I don’t have a garage. Does anyone know the best place to put the cord when closing the door on it? I’m guessing top of window but don’t want to ruin my seal and welcome leaks.

Thanks for. Clarifying that the fuse box jumper will work without the battery being connected. I asked Alexa and she didn’t know. Come to think of it that is what we need, a little box for our cars with all the answers. “Ferry, How do I fix.....” in the mean time we have each other and you tube videos to get into just enough trouble.

I know that you are a Porsche specialist but I have to tell you that I disconnected my battery on my 997.1 and was locked out and while the jumper box did not work for me, I hooked up jumper cables from my truck battery(truck running and hooked it up to the emergency red jumper in the fuse box and hit my key fob and the drunk opened right up.
