Broken front sway bar drop link will result in oversteer, not understeer.

Plus that sway bar is on full stiff. Soften it up a wee bit.

I'm told that running full stiff on that front bar is somewhat common to cause issues with stock links. On the GT3 I've been running my front bar at "half stiff" for best results... That's 3/4 stiff on one side and 2/4 stiff on the other side. This season I've started moving to fairly stiff front bar and fairly soft rear bar, but relying on MOAR TRAILBRAKE to rotate the car.

Yeah….gt2 actually handle really well - but needs a proper setup by a very good shop. Doesn’t need more parts just setup. I think it’s better as an original car handling wise than the GT3, having had both. Suggest they go to somewhere that knows the car well.

Any idea what "setup well" equates to in geometry? The 997 GT3's tend to like moderate camber and a little toe in in the rear.

I think you are on the right track. Dont mess too much with stock GT2 geometry. Its really quite good from the factory. I'm running (what I understand from the previous owner to be) stock geometry but with 10mm (IIRC) of camber shims. RSS Tarmac and Sways set full soft in front and middle in the rear. No understeer here. Nice and neutral at the track. Might consider going full stiff in the rear and one hole stiffer in the front due to a bit too much leaning in the very, very high speed sweepers, but at the end of the day, the GT2 is a street car, so there is a tradeoff you have to make in terms of track performance vs street driving comfort, tire wear, etc. Generally speaking, dont try to reinvent what the factory has set up unless you have a specialized use in mind.
