Question 997 GT2

Hello everyone,
In the last year i have been looking for a 996 GT2 to buy, since i missed one that was for sale at 69.000 EUR and never found one so cheap after that.
Since a few weeks ago a 997 GT2 comes in my list for 99.995 EUR at a dealer not far from me, so of course i jumped in the car because i had to see it.
Nowhere in the add was mentioned that the car was imported into Belgium in 2014 from the UAE, but all the papers were done accordingly with a visit at Porsche factory in Germany after the import into Europe. I was a bit disappointment, but the car showed some other faults, like: the front tires were from 2013, rear ones from 2017. The stop lights had damage inside, because of the hot climate in UAE. The rims were retouch in some parts, and the rear ones had some scratches. I could also noticed that the car was paint protected in 2008 at ProTech Monte-Carlo.
The car has 54000 km and 2 previous owners.
I guess after seeing it, i will keep looking for a good ,EU registered 997 GT2 and even if it's a version that is still a bit undervalued compared to all the other GT2s I think in the economy of today we will see some more on the market.
I would like to know your opinion about the car i have mentioned above, what are the main thing you are looking for when buying a GT2 997?

Cheers,

99K Euro seems very cheap to me, the issues you mention are quite trivial, I love the colour. Car looks a bit of a bargain.

I love the car, that's no doubt, but i don't want to rush as the car is already at the dealer for a while, just recently had this price drop.
Is the value of the car not influenced if it comes from US or UAE? Will any buyers avoid if the car is imported or not?
Another thing i just have found is that the same car was listed some time ago at another dealer for 139.900 EUR. So i wonder why the big price drop. Is there a place i can check the VIN of the car?

Protech is just an overpriced polish that the local Porsche dealer in Dubai offers, it's not a paint protection film. The car has now spent 6 years in the EU, if it has recent service records, and the over revs check out, it seems like a good buy. Just do a Pre purchase inspection and take it from there. The things you mention seem rather trivial when considering a 12yr old super sports car.

I would still consider that example if I were you, it seems worthy of consideration. They are very impressive cars, more so than most people will ever know!

Assuming a good PPI from someone who knows these cars and a positive test drive I would buy this car. Unusual and attractive color!
