Default Need Silver or steel color wheels for my 7.2 RS

Hey Friends,

I am wanting to preserve my red wheels on the 7.2 RS. Might want to look at silver or steel color wheels. Anyone has experience with those colors?

Thanks

if you decide to get a set, let me know. I had a good quote from a Porsche dealer for a factory set.

If you’re thinking about resale value and the factory finish on the wheels I would not be concerned. I don’t think most look for factory wheel finish when buying a car. Maybe factory color. But not finish. If they get chipped up, then I would refinish them to red again.

If you want silver wheels, those should be easy enough to find from a member on here that has went to an aftermarket set and doesn’t want to keep stock wheels. I would find them in whatever color someone has them in and then refinish to factory color.

On your car, silver would look very good, black wheels may look good too. You could always find a set of silver wheels and refinish them to red so you can keep your stock look and then keep the originals unfinished.

That's funny, I've been itching for a set of stock red wheels for my RS and preserve the silver.

I like silver, myself. Feel it tones the look down a bit.

They definitely look great. Give a soothing contrast to the loud car.

I also toned down my daily driver GT3 with a second non winged rear lid.
