This just popped up in my Instagram feed: roadrichmotors in Costa Mesa has a 2008 White GT2 with 8K miles. I know nothing about the car or the seller.
Looks like a nice car. Full leather. For some reason the factory .1 GT2 side model designation never did it for me like the .1 GT3RS does, but it looks good pretty there in white, at least in their lead photo:
Speaking of, as I have been running out of COVID projects to do, I went ahead and installed .2 style side model designation decals the other day:
It's not strictly factory original for the car, but so much white it needs a little something there to break it up a bit.

i checked it out. It’s modified. Exhaust header and turbo internals (GT2 oem housings). They have original exhaust.
after talking with them, I’m 99% sure, it’s a rennlisters car - CT944 or something like that - because he traded both GT2 and GT3 RS (997.2) for a 991 RS.
car has low miles, paint needs correction and detail but otherwise didn’t see a whole lot of road rash/chips.
The RS has a nice guards roll bar. Looked like a club sport bar. Haven’t been following GT2 market but Lots of competition in 180,000 Range.
So it would seem that the dealer who is selling it now has made a conscious decision to not disclose the modifications. In shopping for a GT2 today, it seems originality may be more of a driving factor than it has been in the past? Or maybe this is just a lazy dealer hasn’t bothered listing the mods? I am thinking the former is more likely.
Salesman came outside and disclosed the mods without me asking...I was at a small meet this morning and several of the guys knew about the car and that it was modified. Small market.
