Question Is it possible to swap left and right bucket seats?

My driver's bucket seat needs a repair and I'm wondering if I could use the passenger seat on the driver's position while I get the other one fixed. I know the part numbers are different but would it fit?

Belt receptacle would be on the wrong side.

The three-point seat belts attach to both side mounts of each bucket seat. Presumably, I could just swap the seats and bolt the belts in the right places?

In the picture: the three-point belt attaches to the seat mount whereas the six-point harness attaches directly to the chassis.

For some reason, I thought there was only a cut out on one side of the seat for the belt.

I guess which buckets? I believe the LWBs have a side-impact airbag on the outside-facing side of the seat. I'm not near my car at the moment but in pics I took in the past I can see something on the outside that isn't on the inside. Obviously this wouldn't impact fit but something to consider.

I have the lightweight bucket seats which have no airbags so there is no handedness in that respect.

Yes, just put the passenger seat in the drivers seat sliders, (if you want to keep front / aft adjust handle in the same place).

The 3-point receptacle will have left a deep impression over the years. That's probably your biggest consideration aside from all mentioned above.
