I've used GMG and Sharkwerks bypass and kept the Sharkwerks. Highly recommended. This is for 997.2 RS. GMG uses a megaphone type pipe that goes from narrow to wide and caused a bit too much drone for my taste. Long spirited drives made my ears ring afterward.

I may be in the minority, but I feel the factory exhaust with the ti muffler and full bloated side muffler has a beautiful pitch.

It's not as loud as a side by pass (unclear If you lose power) or a muffler delete (basically just louder but more gt3 generic sound).

Factory is higher pitched and dare I say, pitch perfect? Ty Anna Kendrick.

I had a SW bypass when i I had my 997.1 gt3 because I thought it needed flex. I have had my 997.2 rs for almost 5 years and never 1 time considered changing the exhaust.

What about side muffler deletion? I have Akrapovic center muffler, would love to delete sides and save some weight!

Should be ok. As long as you preserve the cats, you'll pass the visual and the OBDII scan will be clean. This is all assuming nothing has changed since I lived there about 5 years ago.
