I’m fortunate to own 2595 for the last 10 years and yes, one of the few with leather steering wheel, carbon, sport Chrono Package, PCCB, and a few other nice touches. Just polished and cleaned this weekend and nothing beats this color combo IMO. Wish the GT3 Registry site was still available and updated as it was incredibly helpful to me when I was looking for a 997.1 Rs. Like so many folks here my dream car for sure......

Ha! That’s great. I can’t remember seeing one of these in LA. I probably just missed it, but they do seem to be a pretty unique drive. Kids are giving the thumbs up. 😂

Who knows with Exclusive Options as I was never able to procure the Window sticker. Not sure about your interior options but perhaps difference is center console - Ive seen many cars ordered with center consoles painted exterior color, leather, or in my RS its carbon fiber, along with dash vent surrounds, and Leather dashboard defroster vent panels with carbon accents. Im not a fan of the dashboard defroster vent panels with carbon accents as many folks (including me) have had issues with the adhesive failing, and the carbon fiber “blades” warping. Enjoy your new ride!

I noticed the thicker leather steering wheel is a no charge option. Is the Alcantara wheel cost extra.

They actually shipped it out for me specifically. They had a white one at the LA store but I waited due to Covid, and then it sold before I could grab it. Then I found out they had this one, and it had lower miles and a much cooler interior spec. So they sent her out for me. Was worried the black and orange might be too much (I love white with black!), but I really fell in love once I saw it in person.

Thanks so much. And I do feel lucky. (I was parking cars like this as a valet only a handful of years ago!) And yeah, they also had a 991.2 with a manual (for 20k less), and I knew it would be awesomely fast and headache-free...but far less special. The .2 997 RS still has some major allure, but we’ll see what the future holds. I think the .1 is a better looking car.

So just ordered the SW track exhaust. I’m certain to become the least liked neighbor in short order. Can’t wait to get it out with the new sound, and less weight in the rear.
