Default Best 997 GT3 RS video. Period.

997 Cup car built for tarmac rally? We have all seen these before but this one is so good. In any case it's long at 18:00 minutes but it's damn good. Amazes me how well the 911 2 wheel rear drive platform works in rally. Surprise at the end...

I watch these GT3 rally cars on YouTube all the time. If money was no object I would for sure build a rally style RS

I’ve tried to find out which exhaust they’re running, years ago I think I found out Olaf has M&M

There are quite a few videos with good sound

Fantastic! The top speed shots are blood curdling fast. It make me laugh when we stress over potential over revs and these guys live on the rev limiter...

Exactly. Contrary to what the 991 crowd will tell you there is no way the 991's are built as well as 997's. In every facet from chassis to paint to motors..

That sound has to be more than just headers and mufflers. I've never a heard a street car sound anything remotely like that. The sequential trans and straight cut gears certainly add to the overall sound, but what else is involved?

Sound is killer. What about suspension etc? Anyone know just how much is changed from cup suspension?

I’m guessing this would make the best 996 RS video ever? Same driver and same sweet highlights. What would you pay to ride shotgun with him?

I was able to find John Wartique on fakebook last year and asked what exhaust he has and he said he’d ask the team but never got back to me
You can take a peek under his car at the beginning of this video

^ More awesomeness! Olaf likes Red. Same sponsors etc. I need to learn more about this Olaf character. What would I give? Plenty!
