Seems like the best deal ever-12 qts at $4.25 each. Best I've seen is $5.79 or so at local Napa, plus tax. Not sure what shipping location but ground can't be that much-our cars take 10.5 qts so there'll be some left over.
I've been using Mobil 5W-50 since my first oil change and consider it the best choice in viscosity-

What is FS X2? Just be sure this is A40 oil you are buying.

....nm see A40 on the backside.

It's the only Porsche approved 5W-50
Been using it for quite some time, and it's the best viscosity for my region-

This sale and many others might be taking place to get rid of inventory preparing for the new GF-6 oils in 2020:

And Mobil's page on GF-6:

So after May 1st 2020, all oils will have to be GF-6 compliant. No complete kist of viscosities yet, but I would think all available viscosities for GF-6A being backward compatible. GF-6B standard will only have a viscosity of 0W-16
I just did oil changes 6 months ago and will follow closely the new standard. Looks like eventually it will be the only standard(?)

It's obvious that the trend is to get the oil thinner and thinner while maintaining acceptable amount of lubrication. My guess is that GF-6Bs will never get A40 criteria met and we will continue to use the newer version of the known viscocities and then newer Porsche engines will be designed to work with GF-6Bs. This is very similar to the BMWs LL-01 vs LL-04 specifications. A lot of the newer thinner oils cannot be used in the older LL-01 specced cars.
