Same here for me, meaning if it has CL I'm not interested. 5 luge are so much easier for track use. There is a reason all the hardcore track guys do the cl to 5 lug conversion.

No reason, I'm a hard core track guy too. The 5 lug conversion looks out of place on a GT Porsche.

Better late than never! Just trying to keep things updated here so I don’t lose track but also thought I'd share with everyone some more progress.

7/14/2022 - Brakes and first DE event

I decided against tracking the carbon ceramics so took them off and put them in a box in storage. Opted for Giro discs and sprint pads. Car felt great! Was hardly noticeable with the added rotating mass at the track.

11/22/2022 - More Track goodies

I officially caught the bug and am now slowly turning the direction of the car to be more track oriented.

Installed:
Ohlins Road and Track coilovers
BBi Half cage w/ Racetech harnesses
5 Lug swap (I now have a precision instruments torque wrench for center lugs for sale if anyone needs one PM me.)
Apex VS-5RS Wheels wrapped in Falken 660s (Cup2s were on back order until 2030)

yes 18" they dont fill out the wheel wells like the 19s but way more tire options and slightly lighter weight is the trade off

Update before the New Year.

4/12/2023

Got the car down to the Smokies with some good friends and got to test out the new suspension and wheel/tires on the Tail of the Dragon. Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures or video but for those that know the road...know.

9/6/2023

2nd DE with the car was able to fully test out new upgrades. Car feels so well set up for me right now. Not many things I want to change so I plan to leave it as is for now so I can focus on my driving skills and getting more experience. I bought a Garmin Catalyst and will likely be installing that for next years DE's.

So probably wont be doing much more to the GT3 at least for a while. I just picked up a C2 964 so that project will likely be taking up the majority of my wrenching time haha.

Nice mods on your GT3, I'm sure it’s a blast on the track.

A properly set up 964 is such a great street machine especially if you’re fortunate enough to live in an area with twisty, hilly roads. Love my GT3 and even Scud but my two, highly modified but still underpowered, air cooled are just more fun on the street…..for me at least.
