To your original question of a 07 gt3 with 30k miles...here's a comp, don't know the car and have no affiliation but seems like a solid deal

These cars at 10+ years old and so is the epoxy. Pinning only prevents a catastrophic loss of coolant, but does not prevent leaks. To do that you need to have them welded and pressure tested or assume the welds are good.

I bought my 2007 gt3 from doug last year. I paid the 1000$ consultant fee and he found me my car in 1 week... I had been searching fruitlessly for the previous 6 months for a driver spec with no stories. My only regret is that I did not engage doug sooner! I missed out on 1/2 of an hpde season because I thought I could do better than someone who sources cars for a living. Don’t make the same mistake call doug !

and to be honest - I think the 997 are the absolute best value proposition for GT3s. sure, 991s will be faster, but they're also chock full of tech that takes away from the driving experience (for ME, example - I got a GT4 drove it 40 miles and sold it....did not like it at all even though it was a capable car)
Rennlist is a good place to find good example (usually) - I found both of mine GT3s here. for comparison (pricing, etc.) check out cars.com (I'll look at eBay, but I don't like the sellers typically). Autotrader should be fine, I've never looked at BAT and I'd never do Craigslist - but again, this is merely me. on Rennlist, check w/ a few of the legends here, they know and come across good cars (Mooty, etc.). Buy the seller as much as the car
EDIT: for Switchcars - never used them but they get some decent cars. Also, I wouldn't get hung up on a specific color. I hate silver AND blue cars and both of my GT3s were Arctic Silver and now Cobalt Blue....go figure!

Look I get the utility. I actually spoke with him and he seems like a great guy so I may end up retaining him.
But if I knew someone who was looking for a gt3 and I happened to also know of someone looking to sell I would connect them without a fee. It’s good karma.
But I get that this is his business. I respect that.

I had first right at every GT3 to cross his desk... which was a lot.
I'm in the business but I am not a GT3 expert. If you want a nice car give him the $1,000 and relax and watch the cars come into your inbox.
