My 997.1 GT3 3.9l Shark Werks (Scenic photos)
Hello!
Bought one of my dream cars in october last year. Have not posted much photos since there was some minor cosmetic things to take care of. But now I had a photgraph shoot some pictures while we where on a driveout in the Norwegian fjords and mountains.
As far as car spec goes she have a 3.9l Shark Werks engine. Believed to be the only one on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Guards Transmission 3-4-5th straight cut and old 5th is set as 6th. Guards 40/60 LSD and GT3 RS 4.0l clutch and flywheel.
Equiped with Öhlins TTX 4-way that I've had newly serviced in Germany. Re-valved and dyno tested to be setup for Nürburgring. As well as a new set of a click firmer springs.
She also has RSS Tarmac series kit and adjustable uniball swaybar endlinks.
Brakes is upgrades with steel braided brake hoses, Brembo Type2 discs, Race Tech RT10 pads and Performance Friction brake fluid.
Cup shifter wires and Function First short shifter makes the gear shifts bolt action like.
Exteriorwise you can spot CUP front splitter and GT3RS decklid with carbon wing. HRE P40 lightweight wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 245's and 305's. Some carbon details.
Beeing a USA sold car she did not have racecar like interior. So she is now equiped with TCD half cage, Schroth 6point harnesses, 996 GT3 ClubSport nomex seats and GT3 RS steering wheel.
Probably something I've forgot. Feel free to ask if there is some questions. I'll try to update the thread as I go along.
Cheers form Norway.

Fantastic Photography!! .. and a beeeeeeautiful car to shoot .... AND DRIVE! Tell Mellum they did a great job with the photo-shoot.
next up you'll need to suction a couple Go-Pro's to the car & give us a first hand experience driving through your mountain roads!!
Thanks for posting. It was a nice distraction from my work today to slide up & down in your pics above & dream of our engines singing their tune while at WOT through the gears.
..... now I feel the need to go jump in & drive

Thanks mate!
The character is from a Norwegian tv show. About people who spend more money then they earn. So they are helping them getting on the right path again with bills, loan etc. This guy have a saying that he he is getting economically seasick. So I'ts a picture of him and the text say "I'm getting economically seasick"
They are probably not 100% straight cut, but not far from it. Straight cut gears allow a much better grip when engaging gears and are more robust. But you get a singing from the gears. You can hear it on the onboard film I posted. When I go from 2nd to 3rd.
