Default GT3 Upper Grill Frame

How is the mesh grill frame held into position on the 997.2 GT3 upper radiator vent? Suncoast suggested part number 99757556792 frame but there is nothing to hold into position on bumper

There are two pieces of plastic that are stuck to the bumper cover with double-sided foam tape. 997 575 567 92 sandwiches the mesh to those two pieces. If they have a part number on them it can't be seen w/o pulling them off the bumper cover. Maybe that means they are included wth 997 575 567 92 but that's just a guess. A quick google doesn't show that to be likely though. The parts catalog I have is not much help.

The part number is correct as per PET. However, it is limited to info, so I'm not sure about the foam being there.

No, because you have 7.2 GT3 bumper. Part number 3 is for .1 bumpers.

I thought it might be needed underneath on the 997.2 bumper.

you need a part that is not shown in that diagram. It's two pieces and they are stuck to the underside of the bumper cover with double-sided foam tape. Part #35 screws into the two pieces I'm talking about with about 30 little T10 screws. Do you already have a bumper cover?

Hi-Arc, I'm almost positive this is the part you need....the problem is I searched that part number on Suncoast's and other oem parts sites and nothing comes up. Maybe the part number has been superseded and all it takes is a phone call though.

Thanks so much for your response. Suncoast was not able to locate the part number. I will forward your info. That’s for sure what I am missing

Does anyone know the part number for the mesh grill that goes on the smile vent?
