The GT3 is somewhat sensitive to set up where there is a good amount of adjustments one can play with. For this reason always had Goldcrest do the setup. The rest of the car is fairly easy and accessible to work on. Lots of DIY posts on our hosts site. Just go back to the 07-10 period when the car was new. Look for posts from MIKYMU (among others) and you will find terrific documentation.

I do all my own maintenance also. The only downside is the lack of records for the work. It can deter some buyers, even if you have it all recorded.

I also do my own maintenance (documented by me with receipts) and have driven the car on the track from time to time without a single miss shift (clean DME). I find it silly how some buyers would not even look at my car if it were up for sale due to those actions. This just gives me further reasoning to continue enjoying the car.

If I have to take a haircut on the sales price as a result? Oh well,...as I'm certain most of you would agree... that's the cost of an experience we wouldn't trade for much anything else.
