Black 997.2 GT3RS 11K miles
Hey guys,
Helping a friend price his car. He has a rare 2011 PTS black GT3RS. It's basically a stripper. No nav, no pccb, etc... About 11K miles. Interior and exterior have been kept like new conditions. Zero over revs in DME, 4 owners. What do you think it'll go for in this market?

I would say list it for $169,900 and plan on somewhere above $150k. I just bought one 2 weeks ago.....

Very well stated. I understand we are now 3-5 years past the peak .2 RS days but this is PTS and is in the good mileage range. No PCCB effects some. I might list it a little higher than that at 175K and see where you go from there. Easy to negotiate down. That said, I do not recommend selling a .2 RS! And I sure wouldn't let it go for anywhere near 150K! These will no doubt continue to rise, at what rate or how high who knows, but they will only go up in time IMO.

I understand what you are saying and I agree because I bought one! But the market today is currently a little soft it seems. Watched these cars for several months and nothing changed (same ones still for sale). Asking prices aren't selling prices. I think the 991.1 dropping the last few months has put pressure on the 997 cars to go down as well. Tough to pay $180-200k for a 997 when you can get a 991 that is 5 years newer for $190-200k. Yes, I understand stick shift, etc., but a newer car is a newer car for a lot of people. I did look at the black one that was posted above and his $220 price is advertised at $199k on another site (very nice car, but a stripper which isn't want I wanted). I did get a very good deal on my car I felt, but I could have bought several stripers for $150-160k. More optioned up models (with PCCBs) were running more in the 170-190k range. Just depends on what you want. I ended up paying less than MSRP which was the goal all along.
