Track, DD or pleasure use only? - makes a huge difference.

Try Grundy. Was surprisingly very cheap and no mileage limits.

Grundy told me my 2010 was not old enough to gain any advantage. In case of my 1991 M3 and 1972 2002 (BMWs) I was paying 395/year combined... madness!

Any using Grundy? Perhaps I should try again, I wonder if my agent misinformed me.

Search the 991 gt section. There's a lengthy thread over there discussing didferedi options.

Statefarm , 7k miles or less for pleasure. have been with them for 30+ years, all homes and cars so get a slight discount. They were a couple dollars more a month than Grundy or the discount places but my agent treats me well and never an issue with the few times we have had to claim.

I use Grundy agreed value.

I have for three years.

I have Geico. When I added my GT3 my premium went down $500 due to their multi-car discount. Making it a pleasure only/high deductibles saves you a ton. I pay $ 2100/year for that and an E92 M3. South Florida.

I am with AAA, been with them for like 20 years. Premium for gt3 was only $100 more than an e46 m3 ... crazy. Probably because the M cars are being totaled more often than porsches.

There is a difference between agreed value from a specialty insurance place and Geico or AAA etc who have no idea what these cars are. They will insure anything. Could be a big difference between what you and that insurance company think if an incident were to occur especially when mileage, color combos etc make a big difference in values.

Like Modena1 noted, don't get turned on by a seemingly low rate with companies that will pay you half of what the car is really worth when something bad happens. I used the word when not if because if an event has a possibility of happening it WILL happen.. it's a matter of time which certainly can be longer than your intended time to own the car.
