How to work front axle lift?
#2
I believe it should be as below, at least it worked like this for a (very) little while after it was fixed by P.
1- Press the button, it is lid
2 - Car goes up, “Lift” is displayed on the dash
3 - That is it.
To take it back down either press the button, lights and “lift” display comes off OR go over the speed threshold.
From my experience, if the “lift” message comes up on the display then all is good.
If not, you can press the buton as much as you want, it will do nothing. Only going above the speed threshold will take it down (thankfully this has always worked so far).

When the lift is working right push the "LIFT" button and "LIFT" will appear on the dash as it goes up. It will disappear when you push the "LIFT" button again and the the car lowers. There seems to be a delay in it's ability to raise until there is enough pressure built up in the hydraulics upon start up. You should also be able to hear an audible "air release sound" on the way back down..
