can you help us understand this more?

so you pulled the strips from a .2 GT to put on the strips with doors. Is that what you're saying?

So the hardware was beneath those strips then? or did you have to add the mounting hardware.
this would answer a question i've heard asked quite a few times about the GT3/RS having the mounting holes underneath the continuous strips.
