Yeah I'm with you. I have them on my car. I just don't like Cup anything on RS uprights. But i've tossed out the idea of keeping my RS uprights so I've also tossed out the end plate idea. And while I'd love to get some type of anhedral shaped wing I don't want it all that bad. BTW I still can't find a filler panel. NLA parts made sense to me on my 30 year old F40 but not on a ten year old 997. Argh. I'm done fiddling with this thing until I do the motor. I've had four decklid / wings, five sets of wheels, five sets of seats, five roll bars and everything else imaginable. Yeah, te only word I ca think for all that is STUPID. I'm a moron. But my wife likes that I'm out of the house...

I think it’s a US law every mfr has to have replacement parts available for 10 years min. Maybe wright pcna a letter asking for help?

Yeah, I genuinely find it odd. These are parts that were sold and raced 7 years ago. It's not like I need an air duct, filler panel, end plate and other bits for my 904?!! I frankly have a bit of a disconnect with a lot of Porsche policy the past decade-ish. I won't look even more nutty than I am by doing my old man rant here but I wish I had done some of these projects when you did. I think you found some of the last bits and your cars are spectacular. In fact your parts stash alone is insane. DOPE DOPE DOPE! Best JBO

That was the story of my life bro. This is the first time I've modded a car in 20 years. My wife thought itt would give me a hobby. Plus our old buddies at C strickly prohibited mods I was fine with that part of our relationship. You know the rest....

guys, these are not difficult to fabricate. You need some one to let you remove their 4.0 end plates and make a pair of masonite templates. Fit the templates on the wing and make sure everything aligns. After that - you have a template that you can keep to make these. Send them to MA carbon and I bet they could make these for you in CF if needed. Acrylic, aluminum or phenolic panels will also work. You could always use fiberglass, but that would not be my first choice.
But $3500 is ludicrous! No way
anyway - Good luck
