997.1 PCCB Yellow Caliper vs. 997.2 Steel Red Caliper
Are these two calipers the same size? I see some threads that kind of dance around it, but never flat out confirm it. Bottom line is that I want to know if a front wheel that clears a 997.1 PCCB yellow caliper will also clear a 997.2 steel rotor red caliper. The 997.2 red ones are big.
Thanks

Different mounting between .1 and .2 calipers. 19" wheels will clear either, 18" you need to double check.

Hold on...
.1 NON PCCB uses a different mounting its a smaller rotor and different upright
.1 PCCB is a 380mm rotor, same upright spacing
same as .2 cars
I have .2 front red calipers on mine. Well rear too. It was a PCCB car.

You are right and I was confused! I had recently researched 997 turbo pccb and 997 GT3 pccb calipers to covert a .2 997 cab to pccb. The spacing is different between turbo and gt pccb calipers.
sorry about that

Thanks powdrhound. Two sets of these new Apex wheels are ordered. I cannot manage my tires with only 2 sets for track. I need 4 to juggles stickers and scrubs.
