Default Source for Radio *****. no affiliation

I had sticky radio ***** and I cleaned them off with some elbow grease, which actually makes them feel like lightweight econobox radio *****. It was a temp fix until I was able to order some new OEM ones.

Looked around and prices seemed to be about $29 per ****. I then stumbled on 5150 Motorsports, which have the cheapest prices I could find. Purchased both right and left for $12.00 each. Just thought if anyone was looking for a set, they are here for cheap.

PCM Radio **** - Right Side (Usually ships in 1-3 business days) 997-642-202-00-A05-MS56 1 $12.00
PCM Radio **** - Left Side (Usually ships in 1-3 business days) 997-642-201-00-A05-MS56 1 $12.00
Subtotal $24.00
Shipping & Handling $3.50
Grand Total (Excl.Tax) $27.50
US (7.25%)
$1.74
Tax $1.74
Grand Total (Incl.Tax)

This is going to sound retarded but do you know how to replace them? Mine are sticky as well and have had the replacements sitting in my drawer for a while lol

Do you just pull the old ones out? Do you need a tool, or need to be careful not to break anything?

For the black 997.2 ***** there is a small set screw behind the flat face, from what I recall. Don’t try to pull them straight off.

2.'s have a little face cover that has to come off first. .1's just pull off.

I got ripped off.... lol.

I usually get al my parts through Gaudin. Stupid that I didn't check there for these. I was on ECS's site looking for parts for the RS4 and just stumbled upon these and then started a search for them. Gaudin didn't hit the radar.

You forgot to mention that Gaudin and Sunset charge over double for shipping and ship in 10 days because they don't have anything in stock while 5150 ships them the same day. Bought many items from them over the years, OEM parts cheaper than most big name websites, great people and ran like clockwork by a wonderful German girl.

Maybe it depends on the parts and location but I've been ordering maintenance parts and a fender liner.

Items shipped within a couple of days and I received them within a week since I'm SoCal. It was even cheaper shipping rates then Pelican which is in Los Angeles and a lot cheaper then Suncoast in FL.

These dealer/parts stores ship from the PCNA warehouses and not usually directly from their location. That's why it takes longer.

Likely not true on 09 .1s - its more about the PCM unit.

Never understood how the heck these get sticky!
