Default 997 GT3RS seat belt problem and lift

Hi guys,

Do you guys have the problem with seat belt warning when the seat belt was buckled (and I’m having a carbon seat)? And the suspension lift will not drop down after pressing the lift button. Are these common problems with this car?

Not sure about the seatbelt lite but there has been an endless discussion regarding problems with the front end lift. Most loved it until it stops working! One 'list member did a full diagnostic investigation and came up with sensor issues and leaks. Search may be difficult as thread titles vary as seen here. have dealer hook up PIWIS, i think you may have a bad belt sensor or the seat was removed and reinstalled incorrectly. an easy fix.

the lift... well, if it's broken and out of warranty $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Will removing the factory lifters cause any errors/warning on the dash? I am getting intermittent lift error warnings and was thinking of removing the lifters all together

As Mooty stated easy fix on seat belt warning light - mine was sensor in receiver unit.

UGH... lifts! Knock on wood, no issues with mine

seatbelt in mine was sensor unit too.

I got one without lift because didn't want to deal with lift problems
