Default RPM fluctuation at idle

Hi all, finally got my GT3 and noticed that RPM isn't steady at idle but fluctuates a bit, probably less than 100RPM but still noticeable. I am taking it into a local indy Monday but wanted input on what this could be... Car was idling solidly when I test drove it prior to purchase. Car has 8K miles now and is a 2007. It has a single mass flywheel if that makes any difference (this thing is noisy!)

Thanks for any input.

Possibly an O2 sensor.

If it idles smoothly before warming up, at around 1K rpm. Then, after warm-up it drops to around 800-900 rpm and becomes a bit rougher idle. All is good!
Just the nature of the beast when it comes to a Mezger with vario-cam.

My jealous neighbor points this, rough idle, out to me every time he gets a chance. lol

That is a pretty accurate description. However, I don't see myself living with the single mass FW for long. Does anyone want to trade flywheels? How much will it cost me to 'upgrade' to a dual mass FW?

That would be a downgrade. Enjoy the chatter these machines make any the better revving with single mass.

Also, I think you will need to change the clutch as well. That is if it is like my Audi S6, where when you change from a DMFW to SMFW you have to go from an unsprung clutch to a cluh with springs.
