Great seller, great price, great seats...........and local too!
At my age it's hard enough getting out of my GT2 seats but well worth the effort to drive the RS! Now, if the outside bolster were "hinged".........

Would it be massively period incorrect to put these in a 997.2 RS?

Very nice looking!

^ NO
they are in my RS4.0 and it is the correct seat for ROW 997.1 and .2 (they had three seat options. above, the GT2 heavy seats like we have and the really really have comfy seats)
google ROW 997.1 .2, you will see many had these. in fact i tried to order one that had embroidery of RS4.0 on headrest. it's was close to $30k USD.

it bolts directly with no mods to 997.1 and .2. i have done it.
you do need PIWIS or durametric tool to turn off side air bag warning lights on the dash
