Well if buy "massively" you mean greater than one year. These seats were available on the ROW 2008 997.1 GT3 RS. JBO PS Edit. Please see J's answer for much more accurate info.

Agreed. GT2 seats are just fancy sofas replete with reclining backs and side airbags. Not even close. Same with 918s, etc.

Another RLer hiding in plain sight huh... I think you meant an orthopedic surgeon? He was at luftHK as well

Wish you could be with us at the event. We knew we had something going when we had to keep things like the 356A and 993TTS out of the picture, and ended up turning down much more... sadly we only had 30 slots and 13 spaces for the picture (mention "fire codes" the venue owner goes nuts)... the pains of being in a city with no space (seriously)...

Sorry for the threadjack:

btw, luftHK is insane. pre A , A, B, 993RS..... 73RS....

Sorry J for the threadjack but that lineup in HK is insane! WOW. Hey CREX. I'm a fellow 05 CGT owner. Unfortunately I must add former owner Regardless I'm shocked these seats haven't sold. If I had my CGT they'd be mine. They are becoming more and more difficult to get.... JBO

If I had the budget I'd just buy your seats and put them in storage. Pretty sure you can't lose money on these things. Look at what period 964/993 Recaro Poles and Profischales are selling for these days and I instantly get it...

Did you just say "if you had the budget" while garaging all these cars?

I really want to buy these, the exchange rate makes it such a tough pill to swallow.

ya it sucks. I just did this same thing a couple months back. The worst part was the customs made me pay 13% on used seats, which had to be the stupidest thing ever. But I can tell you these seats are totally worth it once you drive with them. It changes the whole car.

CRex is spot on with the Profi example. Porsche part number Profis in perlon or leather are 4-5x the original price if and when you can find them for sale. CGT seat prices have moved up 20-30% in the past year-ish. I would lock some down now. I don't think people have realized that like the Profis new CGTs are quickly becoming extinct. I'll shut up now. hahaha, he's in HK. his post is to cover his behind in case the wife, GF, concubine checks... CREX is broke. and all his cars are old.his newest car is 2011, that's ancient. the cup car is too loud and no carpet inside. and of course all his AC cars smell of oil and have horrible air conditioning thats much needed in HK... see this is how we operate to "conceal" budget hahaha

^ Mate that's my whole playbook in open domain now... what happened to honor among RLers

I should've just bot your CGT seats at the first post and avoided this slippery slope...
