Default Next 911: GT3 RS 3.6 or 4.0

I found a good deal for a 3.6 or a 4.0, both RS
I'm not too worried about resale value as both seem to be doing well.

What are the pros and cons of each car?

I won't be going to the track except for a handful of times a year. Planning to keep this one for a while...

All opinions are appreciated!

Just for clarification, I own a Boxster Spyder 2011 and a C4S cab 2007, so this will be the fun car..

Well considering the 4.0(assuming a stock 4.0 RS) is about 2.5x the cost of a 3.6, the real question might be is it worth the extra expense?

If you need to ask about the differences please go for the .1 RS and leave the 4.0 for someone who knows what they want.

Please post a link for the 4.0

It's true that I don't know much about the cars. I drive and occasionally track for fun.
The 3.6 is much cheaper and I don't see big fluctuations in price. The 4.0 looks more special and seems like a good investment.
All I'd like to know is how the two differ overall as I can't drive either.

the 4.0 is the last iteration of the mezger motor. it's a better car in nearly every way from the standard 3.6 RS. 3.6 is a 997.1 making in the lower 400HP mark and the 4.0 is the 997.2 with 500hp.

if you have the means - get both? if I could choose just one 4.0. fluctuations in price will exist for both, but both will hold their values well for sometime to come.

Thanks!
Is there any reason one would go for the 3.6 over the 4.0?
