You cannot have "loudest" and "street friendly" at the same time. There are so many options and variations, you have some research to be doing...

I think he meant environmentally friendly. If you want raw and loud sound get the Sharwerks or Cargraphic, it will have more mid range punch. If you want something more high pitched but less bark get any x pipe center mufflers like IPE or RSR, more top end power. If you want something louder than stock Akrapovic or cup exhaust. All of them can do side muffler delete (TPC) + headers for crazy loud.

Do you want to get rid of the center muffler or the sides? Any reasons for doing it like weight savings or track performance?

Also agree with the above post, how can it be LOUD and street friendly? And everyone's opinions of what LOUD is quite subjective.

I would like to get more deeper sounder out of it and if i can reduce some weight... why not...
Now i also noticed Shark has a track version of the exhaust which I need to see if somehow to make it street legal.

thank you all for the feedback!

Exhaust loudnest and note is very subjective.

For me, one of te most beautiful, powerfull and glorius sound is Innotech Exhaust (IPE):

My other favorite is FVD exhaust:

These are not god examples, the innotech is under a bridge to fool clueless people with reverberation.

The second is a 4.2 liter build.

For IPE, here a 997 GT3.2 with it fitted on and not under a bridge:

For the FVD are you sure the exhaust is fitted on a car with a 4.2 engine?
This video was posted in 2009 and at this time 4.2 engines were not avalaible in tuner shops.

I'm in agreement with Shogun, the iPE is one of teh sweetest sounding systems on the market for the 997 GT3.

It checks all the boxes: performance, sound, quality, and maybe most importantly - friendly pricing.

Feel free to PM me for more information on availability if this ends up on your shortlist.

I have the Sharkwerks Track exhaust. Super loud and the crackles and pops on deceleration awesome! You definitely get noticed.....that can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Be sure and get the Sharkwerks tune if you go that route.

Not to get in a pissing match, but that 2nd IPE video sounds way less dramatic than the first one you posted.

The first orange GT3 is Ranger22's old GT3, maybe he can chime in if he sees this as far as what the displacement was in 2010, not sure if the 09 video is the same car.

No problem. You are an exigent man and know what you want. You are right and sometimes I behave like you.

IPE sell his exhaust as a cat back or a complete exhaust system (with sport cats).

I think difference is up to your set up.

FVD exhaust note is pure rage and furious sound. May be hard to live with such a "race sounding car" for neighbourhood.

Lets not start the name calling, I just call out BS and personally I think ipe is garbage and they had a history of inundating forums with new user accounts to peddle about how great there exhaust where and skip the vendor fee.
