Brakes: anti vibration dampers >>
I replaced the pads and rotors all around yesterday, however I did not purchase new dampers. The old ones were not adhered to the back of the old pads, but they were a little weathered looking. They were still sitting in the pistons. I cleaned them of debris and I put brake grease on the back of the pads and called it a day.
I bedded the pads in and everything *feels* good. Question is - am I good to go with not replacing and not adhering them to the pads? I guess I don't see the point of these things especially if you track your car and change pads very often. Please chime in with how you all handle them.

I leave the old ones in when I change pads... no adhesive. Some remove them all together.
Some replace them. I think leaving them in with no adhesive is the best of both worlds.
