Were you the one that sold the red GT4 earlier this year? Also...I miss NYST. Ran there last year for a weekend with my local Ducati Dealership in Westchester County. Tons of fun on my Panigale, then got to ride in one of the other riders custom little track toy, it was insane!!! Spun out twice in the left hand turn after the downhill right. Great track

I watched the first 5 mins, then skimmed a bit, and then most of the end. Big improvement on hand position. You're a fast learner, even after all the pushback and defensiveness.
For me as an instructor, a few too many 'oh-sh*t' moments after 7 mins in...

Interesting vid - surprised the driver was shifting a PDK - my experience is that a PDK in Sport + mode is faster around the track if you let the PDK do all the shifting.

I don't believe speed was his priority for that session...

If speed was not the priority perhaps he should concentrate on car control, two hands on the wheel and proper cornering technique - like hitting the apex etc.

Haha... last time he posted a video with no description he raged on people for giving unsolicited advice while simultaneously trying to teach them that their ways were wrong and need to be enlightened so maybe we can just wait and see what he says his goals were this time. Perhaps it was just a last hurrah on a set of cycled out tires?

I'm glad to see it looks like you listened what people were saying in the beating you got for your last video. Your hand placement and steering wheel movements are generally much better... although still room for improvement... and you seem to have gone a bit back to your old ways after the 8:00min mark. But generally speaking this video is much better.

This is funny stuff.

Began racing karts at 12 in 1979 and Porsches and open wheel around 84, instructed for everyone from Skippy to Porsche and just about every other car club and racing organization there is, but stopped about 7 or 8 years ago.

I would venture to say everyone commenting on hand placement, lines and etc., doesn't have near the car control skills this guy has.

About 10 years ago, I was instructing for PBOC racing and took their chief instructor around Barber at the end of the weekend. He was asking for rides in interesting cars. I drove about 11/10 the whole way and used throttle steering to get rears lose and have fun the entire way around the track. He asked to get out after 2 laps and said that was the wildest ride he had ever been on. I could tell he was not really having much fun . . .

I am sure my hands and hand positioning looked a lot like Hong Kong Phooey's here, but I would like to see a video of your hand positioning driving 11/10s around a technical track. I, however, bet most ain't got one because most don't have enough car control to drive anywhere near that lose or even approach 9/10s or 10/10s on a consistent basis. Obviously, he is having fun here and not shooting for lap optimal lap times in a race situation.
